I hava been working with the Java Programming language for over 7 years now. In that time I have worked with various technologies and libraries associated with J2SE and J2EE. I primarily work with Web based technoligies, although have recently ventured out into working with Web Services and more SOA related paradigms/technologies.
In addition to the development mentioned above, I have also worked with several commercial as well as open source libraries and products. Most notably from the open source community are Spring, Struts, Tomcat, Apache, ANT, JBoss, Log4J, Taglibs, Eclipse IDE, Jasper Reports to name a few. From a commercial product standpoint, I have experience working with several Java Web/Application Servers such as IBM's WebSphere, BEA's Web Logic and JBoss. I have successfully deployed applications on all of those platforms.
Lastly, I am always sharpening my JAVA skills. I already possess two of the Java Certifications offered by Sun Microsystems, those being the Sun Certified Java Programmer certificate and the Sun Certified Web Component Developer. I am starting to pursue a 3rd certificate that being the Java Enterprise Architect Certification. In addition to certifications, I am constantly reading books and articles about technologies and products associated to Java. And at some point I would like to go back to school and get my Master's in a technology related subject. |
